PC-WARE AG acquires Comparex Central Europe and Iberia
Since June 2007, PC-Ware Information Technologies AG is the new proprietor of the Comparex enterprises in Austria, Spain, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland and Romania.

Doubly protected: Episcopal blessed highly secure data center in the basement vault of the Vienna Archdiocese
In 2003 the Vienna Archdiocese decided to relocate its data center, because its old data center no longer met current safety standards. A new location was selected in the basement vault directly beneath the Archepiscopal palace. The air conditioning of the old premises was a special challenge - these had already been in use as a storage cellar during the time of the Turkish siege of Vienna. Together with COMPAREX, it was possible to implement a fully airconditioned, video controlled high-tech data center with safety access and the newest technique for early fire detection.  more
